The Time Zone Converter shows what a moment in one place looks like everywhere else. Pick a source city and time — or leave it on the live clock — and add as many cities as you like; each one shows the converted local time, the date (with a clear “+1 day” or “−1 day” note when it rolls over), the UT…
Choose your source time zone.
Keep “current time” for a live world clock, or set a specific date and time.
Add the cities you care about — each shows the converted time and a 24-hour day/night strip.
Use Share or Embed to save or post the times.
Every time zone is defined by its offset from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). To convert, the calculator turns your chosen time in the source zone into a single UTC instant, then re-expresses that same instant in each other zone. Because zones east of you are ahead and zones to the west are behind, the converted time can land on the previous or next day — shown here with a “+1 day” or “−1 day” note. Daylight saving time is handled automatically using each region’s current rules, so a city that is five hours behind in summer may be six hours behind in winter.
Scheduling meetings
Find a time that works across offices, and see at a glance who is in working hours and who is asleep.
Calls with family & friends
Work out a decent hour to call someone abroad without waking them at 3 a.m.
Launches, streams & events
Convert a release or webinar time so every audience knows exactly when it starts locally.
Travel & flights
Understand arrival times and jet-lag by comparing your home zone with your destination.
Pick the source zone and enter the time there, then read off the converted time for each city you add. Behind the scenes the calculator turns your time into a single universal instant and re-expresses it in every other zone, so all the rows always describe the very same moment. You never have to add or subtract hours yourself, and daylight saving is taken care of automatically.
